Syracuse University and the Underground Zombie Studies
Those interested in pursuing a career in zombieology or gourmet brain preperation aught to consider Syracuse University where the students have taken it upon themselves to say “Damn the Man!” and institute a course in zombie film lore. FIL 360: History of Zombie Cinema is the only zero credit course offered at Syracuse but will provide a solid grounding in the living dead.
According to the syllabus, the course will track the history of zombie cinema from its cinematic debut in 1932 to the more recent “28 Days Later” and “Shaun of the Dead.” The goal of this class is to successfully explain the allure of such catastrophic occurrences, placing the development of the zombie in its socio-historical context in an attempt to understand why, after all these years, we are still fascinated with the dead that walk

The bureaucrats that run the university have tried to block the students at every turn. Finally, in proper mad science style, the students simply decided to go ahead; with or without approval. As its essential to know just how to survive the coming zombocolypse, these students can be seen as true heroes. Facing down authority to make sure their peers have the skills and knowledge necessary to avoid the gaping maw of death. Bravo kids. Bravo.
